October 1, 2020 – Gail Miller received a leadership award from Utah Business Magazine and Living Color Utah at their annual gala for her contributions to diversity and the community.
October 5, 2020 – Rich Hyde, a longtime employee of Prestige Financial Services, was named as president of Prestige. Hyde had served as COO of Prestige and as a member of various boards and organizations related to the financial and automotive industries. Hyde replaced Dave Smith, who had served as interim president following the retirement of longtime president Bryant Henrie.
October 16, 2020 – The Utah Jazz added Sergi Olivia to their coaching staff. Olivia had previously spent the previous six seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers. He had also been a head coach for 12 years in his native Catalonia (Spain).
October 19, 2020 – The Utah Jazz supported voter registration events throughout Utah working with Voto Latino, the event organizer. Supporting these events and organizations like Voto Latino is part of the Jazz organization’s commitment to promoting civic participation and increased access to voting.
October 28, 2020— Gail Miller and the Miller family announced the sale of the Utah Jazz, Vivint Arena, and other sports properties to Qualtrics founder and CEO Ryan Smith and his wife Ashley.
November 9, 2020— Utah Jazz Gaming center Spencer “Ria” Wyman has been named to the inaugural USA Basketball E-National Team roster. “Ria” is one of seven gamers who will represent the United States in international competition at the FIBA Esports Open II in the North and Central American Conference on Dec. 19-20.
November 9, 2020 – Larry H. Miller Dealerships in Boise, Idaho, launched a pajama drive as part of the “Driven to Assist” initiative. Donated pajamas will be part of a care package given to women and children who stay at various women and children’s shelters in the Boise area during the Christmas holiday
November 11, 2020 – Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 104th in Denver participated in a special Veterans Day event honoring U.S. Army veteran Spc. Delicia Jackson. Jackson received a vehicle courtesy of the Freedom Alliance and U.S. Bank. The vehicle was presented at the dealership, which also provided a125-point inspection, detailing, and a 7-year limited warranty.
November 11, 2020— Three LHM dealerships in Avondale, Arizona announced they are hosting a three-week “Driven to Assist” drive for school supplies to benefit 6,000 Avondale children who were returning to in-person school. Participating dealerships included Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Avondale, Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale, and Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Avondale.
November 12, 2020—LHM Liberty Toyota and LHM Toyota Colorado Springs joined forces to donate a new 2020 Toyota Sienna to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern Colorado. The vehicle will serve as transportation for parents who visit their critically ill children in a local hospital.
