On May 12, 2021, Granite Education Foundation presented Larry H. Miller Charities with its 2020 Thanks for Giving Award, which is presented annually to just a few. It “recognizes individuals, corporations, businesses and key donors who have made a significant impact in the lives of Granite School District students and educators served by the organization.
Larry H. Miller Charities has supported Granite Education Foundation for many years by providing donations toward Santa Sacks for underserved children. About 65 percent of the students in the district live at or below the poverty level, and this last year was particularly difficult for many families due to the economic impact of the pandemic.
