January 26, 2021—The Larry H. Miller Group of Companies announced the launch of Larry H. Miller Insurance Services. The new venture is a partnership with the Leavitt Group and offers employees and customers life, home, business, and auto insurance. Customers who purchase a car at an LHM Dealership can sign up for auto insurance on the spot, allowing for more comprehensive service.

January 29, 2021—Donovan Mitchell of the Utah Jazz received the Offseason NBA Cares Community Assist Award in recognition of his efforts to advance social justice and champion education between the 2019-20 and 2020-2021 NBA seasons.

February 11, 2021—Richard Winbolt, a service lot attendant at LHM Toyota Boulder has retired after working with the Group since 1991. Richard worked for many years as a technician, and then a master certified technician when his advancing age prompted him to ask for a new assignment that would be less physically demanding. Richard was featured in a video shown at the 2018 Who We Are broadcast.

February 12, 2021— The Salt Lake Bees announced a new agreement with the Los Angeles Angels that will keep them as a Triple-A affiliate of the team for the next ten years. The Bees are now a Professional Development League (PDL) license holder, a move that has strengthened the relationship in many ways. 

February 17, 2021—Megaplex Theatres announces a major renovation to their Gateway location in Salt Lake City. The theater will be overhauled over several months and fitted with new heated luxury seats so that patrons can enjoy in-seat dining, premium snack and beverage service, private meeting and event space, state-of-the-art technology and more. The location will be closed for several months while the construction takes place. 

February 23, 2021—Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert and guard Donovan Mitchell were named NBA All-Stars as two of the seven Western Conference reserves announced by the NBA today. The duo was voted in by NBA coaches for the 70th NBA All-Star Game, which will be played at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Sunday, March 7 with on-court action beginning at 4:30 p.m. MT on TNT. This marks the second-straight All-Star appearance for both the two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and 2018 NBA Slam Dunk Champion.

March 3, 2021—Larry H. Miller Dealerships announced a commitment to helping Arizona children transition into a safe home with the “Luggage of Love” campaign, a month-long drive to support children and families statewide who are served by the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS). Through March 31, Larry H. Miller Dealerships is encouraging its employees and the public to help foster children transition into safer environments with simple items of comfort. Donations will be accepted at the group’s 12 dealership locations across Metro Phoenix and Tucson.
