The 2019-2020 Executive Fixed Miller Business Academy (EFMBA) class graduated virtually on June 23, 2020. Under the direction of Dan Johnson, vice president of fixed operations for MAO, the group took the normal in-perons class and coursework and condensed it down to a 3 day, 2 hours virtual training session. The students recorded their homework assignments and sent them to MAO for review.
According to Liza Christensen, regional fixed operations specialist, “The members of the class and instructors did an excellent job and had fun at the same time.” The final exam was administered through an online testing platform.
Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the class was not able to gather for a group picture, so they improvised using Microsoft Teams. The situation was not ideal with COVID-19, but this class pushed through and went out with a bang. Congratulations!
