Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres Holiday Blanket Donation

The spirit of giving and living the LHM values are alive and well at Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres. Rather than purchase traditional holiday office gifts for each other, the Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres leadership team donated blankets for 300 refugees arriving in Utah.

Blake Andersen (L) and Shelley Goodell (R) with Aden Batar, director of Catholic Community Services’ migration and refugee services.

Blake Andersen, president of LHM Megaplex Theatres was joined by Shelley Goodell, vice president of guest services to drop off the blankets to the team at Catholic Community Services of Utah. CCS expects hundreds of refugees over the course of the next year, including those coming from the current crisis in Afghanistan, as well as many others from various countries around the world.

The donation provided an opportunity for the Megaplex leadership team to, quite literally, offer a warm welcome to some of the newest residents of Utah and, in the words of our founder, “Go about doing good until there’s too much good in the world.”
