Larry H. Miller Downtown Honda Spokane has earned the Honda Environmental Leadership Platinum Award for achieving specific environmental targets based on a rigorous points system that includes reducing total energy use at the dealership by at least 10 percent.
Some of the steps taken to reduce the dealership’s environmental footprint include:
- Installing a lighting control system and having more than 90% of lighting as LED
- Having all high-efficiency HVAC units on a programmable thermostat
- Incorporating innovative design and materials in the building
