Q4 Announcements & Calendar

June 29, 2022 – The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation sponsored a Utah Honor Flight that flew 68 Veterans of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War to Washington, D.C. This flight included the 2,000th veteran from Utah since the program started. 

Gail Miller signed a letter for each veteran to read on the flight. Carisa Miller and Morgan Scott represented the Miller Family Foundation. 

“The Utah Honor Flight was a memorable and moving experience. It was an honor to be with the veterans while they visited memorial sites in our nation’s capital. Our family recognizes the sacrifice each veteran has made for our country,” said Carisa Miller.

August 24, 2022 – The Miller family announced its intent to sell a portion of its minority ownership of the Utah Jazz and affirmed its commitment to the advancement of sports and entertainment in Utah. “As initially agreed, our family is selling a portion of our remaining ownership in the Utah Jazz, pending final NBA approval. We have treasured our stewardship of the franchise and remain strong supporters of the team and its place in our community. In addition to our business enterprises and philanthropic endeavors, we are proud to continue our ownership of the Salt Lake Bees, the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels. Our family and the Larry H. Miller Company are excited about and committed to the advancement of sports and entertainment in this great state.”

September 12, 2022 – The Larry H. & Gail Miller Family Foundation supported the 10th annual Gail Miller Utah Leadership Cup golf tournament at Hidden Valley Country Club. All proceeds of the tournament support scholarships for students at Salt Lake Community College.

April 24 – 28: Annual Week of Service – Employees from across the Larry H. Miller Company will join together to volunteer in community service projects during the week of April 24. The event honors company founder, the late Larry H. Miller, who was passionate about serving others and encouraged his employees to do likewise.

April 26: Larry H. Miller’s Birthday – Born in 1944 in Salt Lake City.

May 4: Who We Are 2023 Live Event – Our annual Who We Are events are a celebration our values, culture and everything great about being part of the Larry H. Miller Company. The event will be broadcast live to all employees of the company.
